Action Packed Paintball FAQ
How long do 100 paintballs last?
Good question! It really depends on the person. Most paintball parties play for approximately 2 hours or so and go through an average of 300 rounds during their stay.
How long does a paintball session last?
Most groups stay approximately 2 hours.
How does it all work?
After all players have filled out their waiver and been checked in, a game rule and safety presentation will start. During this short orientation all players will learn how to safely use the issued paintball equipment and how the game is played. After all questions are answered gear will be distributed. Once the group is ready to play, a staff member will accompany players to the field and remain on site to maintain a fun and safe environment.
If your group did not select to play private, they will be mixed in with the crowd and grouped by age and skill level. After playing a few rounds teams will be escorted off the playing area to reload and grab a drink while another group rotates onto other fields. Players may then get back in rotation when ready to play again. Groups may continue to play until we close.
Who do we play against?
Don’t worry about playing against players with their own gear. Gun owners will never play against rental players. Players will be mixed in with players of the same age and playing ability.
Are players supervised?
Absolutely. Staff will accompany players onto the playing field and remain on the playing area until the game or round is over to escort players back to their tables.
What is the minimum age to play?
The minimum player age is 8 years old. All players under 18 must have a waiver signed by their parent/ guardian.
Does it hurt to get hit?
Our facility is strictly a low impact paintball park. Every paintball marker shoots the same velocity and uses smaller and lighter low impact paintballs. These paintballs break at a slower speed and deliver less impact upon being hit. The actual ball’s impact is about a third of the sting of a traditional paintball.
What should we wear?
We recommend dressing for the weather. Wear a few layers of clothing to cover skin. Any long sleeve (t-shirt or sweatshirt) apparel and long pants (jeans or sweatpants) are optimal for outdoor play. Players might want to wear dark clothing to hide better. Also, be sure to wear sturdy footwear to run around the playing fields. We provide a full face protective mask for each player. Paintballs used at Action Packed are water soluble and will wash out of clothing.
Note: Check our coveralls to help keep the inside of your vehicle clean or bring clothes to change into afterwards (Lockers available for rent).
Does our group get a private room or table?
Every group that books a paintball party ahead of time will have access to picnic tables for the appropriate amount of guests in the party. We do not offer special party rooms. However, we do have first come first serve party pavilions free of charge.
Can our party bring food and drinks?
Yes, of course! Make it a party. We allow our guests to bring their own food (pizza, cake, etc…) and non alcoholic beverages.
Do we have to make a reservation?
(Reservations are currently required)Nope! You can simply walk in with your group to play during our mixed/open play hours. However we are a first come first serve facility for walk-ins so we suggest making a reservation.
Can I bring my own equipment?
We require all players to use our rental guns unless they come during our Gun Owner Hours to play against other players with their own gear.
Can we bring our own paintballs?
All players are required to use specific Action Packed issued paintballs that are non-toxic and stain resistant.
Do you still play if it’s raining?
We play rain or shine! Severe weather is handled on a case-by-case basis. We will not run games if lightning is present and or if our park is under a Tornado Warning.
